Los Angeles Programmatic Architecture
A photo project inspired by a photography book named ‘California Crazy’, this is a look at some of Los Angeles’ quirky past, holding on by fingertips to the sprawling modernity of present-day LA.
The book features properties known as ‘programmatic architecture’; a small building in the shape of a hot dog, or a chilli bowl. Lamentably, many of these structures are long-gone, simply lost to history, aside from a few wonderful images, captured on film.
